Railings and balustrades
Glass and steel balustrades, railings for stairs and terraces, handrails: safety that doesn't take the view away.
Let's talk about your project
A balustrade must withstand the loads required by the standard and at the same time disappear from view. We design laminated safety-glass balustrades with floor-mounted or slab-edge profiles, stainless-steel and powder-coated steel railings, and mixed systems with aluminium posts and satin glass panels for terrace privacy.
Every balustrade is calculated for the required load (residential or public), with anchors sized on the existing structure: concrete, masonry, steel or timber. We take care of the details that make the difference: concealed joints, continuous handrail, finished edges, drainage of external profiles.
We also make gates, fences, security grilles and small metalwork for the home, with finishes matched to windows and doors.

Frequently asked questions
Is a glass balustrade safe?
Yes: we use toughened laminated glass with thicknesses calculated on the standard load, with certified profiles. In case of breakage the glass stays in place.
How high must a balustrade be?
In Italy at least 100 cm from the walking surface, with elements that cannot be climbed; abroad we check the local standard before designing.
Can it be fitted on an existing terrace?
Yes, after a site visit to check the slab and screed; we choose the suitable anchoring, often side-mounted to avoid drilling the waterproofing.
