A large glazed opening changes how a room feels: the wall disappears and light reaches the far end. We design thermal-break aluminium sliding doors with 20 mm visible profiles, leaves up to 3 metres high, flush thresholds and manual or motorised operation.
Every system is sized on glass load and local wind exposure, with low-e double glazing and, where needed, laminated safety glass. Tracks are cast into the screed during construction to achieve a step-free passage. We coordinate with the contractor and architect so everything is prepared before fitting.
We also build glazed verandas, terrace enclosures and winter gardens, with glass or panel roofs, and folding glass walls to open a whole façade.
Frequently asked questions
How big can a sliding leaf be?
With lift-and-slide systems we reach about 3 m in height and 400 kg per leaf; beyond that, with motorisation. The real limit is defined at the survey based on wind exposure and structure.
Does a flush threshold let water in?
Not if prepared correctly: the track has a drainage channel connected to the outlet and fitting happens before the finished screed. That's why we coordinate with the contractor from the start.
Do I need a permit to enclose a terrace?
It depends on the municipality and the type of enclosure. We provide drawings and technical sheets to your surveyor for the building application.
